  UBTech Titans claim top honors at State SkillsUSA competition Over 80 students from Uintah Basin Technical College (UBTech) recently attended the SkillsUSA Utah Leadership and Skills Conference. Nearly half the group ended the conference being recognized on the medalist stand. Thirty-seven UBTech students medaled at the state competition. UBTech to partner with online career charter school Career Academy Utah (CAU) representatives visited Uintah Basin Technical College recently to explore how their online students can dual enroll and earn college credit at UBTech. CAU launched its online platform in 2022, offering an industry-focused and career-minded curriculum. Currently, students in kindergarten through 8th grade can attend Career Academy. For the 2023- 2024 academic year the online school will expand to include 9th grade students. UBTech, oil & gas companies collaborate to ease CDL driver shortage When Uintah Basin Technical College rolled out its new Advanced Energy Transportation program to help train truck drivers and support the trucking industry, it garnered attention across the state.
