UBTech Produces More National Champions Written by Stephanie Carter & Lezlee Whiting Four Uintah Basin Technical College students who competed in the National Leadership and Skill Conference (SkillsUSA) are climbing the ladder to national success – with one member of the prestigious group, Dalton Van, taking the silver medal in the welding competition. The Nationals SkillsUSA event occupies a space equivalent to 20 football fields, with more than 6,200 contestants in 100 separate events. New Programs at UBTech

New Programs at UBTech UBTech is gearing up for the start of the new school year by bringing four new programs to students and job seekers in the Uintah Basin. The new programs are open to adults and secondary students and include: Surgical Technologist, IT Support Technician, Network Technician, and Security Technician.
