by, STRATA Networks This spring, STRATA pledged to donate $140,000 to support technology-centered educational programs offered by Uintah Basin Technical College (UBTech) and Utah State University-Uintah Basin (USU). STRATA’s donation will be awarded over a three-year period, giving $25,000 to each school to help fund operational costs, along with $90,000 that will be dedicated to scholarships for students enrolled in the schools. UPDATED: 4.27.21 Uintah Basin Technical College students proved to be innovative examples of perseverance while participating in the first-ever virtual SkillsUSA Utah Leadership and Skills Competition. UBTech students took home 18 medals in this year’s unique contest. “Over half of the total students who competed medaled. What a huge accomplishment!” said UBTech President Aaron Weight. “I wish to express my appreciation and congratulations to our faculty and staff who spent countless hours making this possible.
