  UBTech Titans claim top honors at State SkillsUSA competition Over 80 students from Uintah Basin Technical College (UBTech) recently attended the SkillsUSA Utah Leadership and Skills Conference. Nearly half the group ended the conference being recognized on the medalist stand. Thirty-seven UBTech students medaled at the state competition. The Rocky Mountain Power Foundation has awarded Uintah Basin Technical College (UBTech), located in northeastern Utah, a grant in the amount of $5,000, creating more scholarship opportunities for UBTech students. Record number of UBTech students compete at Nationals SkillsUSA By Stephanie Carter Uintah Basin Technical College students recently returned from the National SkillsUSA competition in Atlanta, Georgia where they kept UBTech’s 6-year winning streak alive. UBTech sent 25 gold medalists representing Utah in their respective skills categories to compete against the best in the nation.
