The Farm/Ranch Business Management Program offers individualized continuing education for farmers and ranchers. These courses aim to teach the business management skills needed to analyze information from farm records and make applications to the individual operation. Farmers and ranchers who participate in this program are assisted in keeping a complete set of financial records using computer software, including Microsoft Excel, Quicken, and Quickbooks. Year-end information is used to analyze the financial position of the farm business. This program meets the requirements for Farm Service Agency borrower training.
