Integrated Water Management Partners with Uintah Basin Technical College to Provide Scholarships

Integrated Water Management (IWM), a prominent environmentally friendly waste handling facility in the Uintah Basin, has announced a partnership with Uintah Basin Technical College (UBTech) aimed at supporting local education and fostering a better community. As part of its commitment to the region, IWM is donating to UBTech scholarships, with a unique emphasis on helping underserved students pursue technical education.

IWM’s decision to collaborate with UBTech comes from a deep-rooted commitment to enhancing the local community and strengthening the workforce trained by the College. The partnership aims to create opportunities for aspiring students and further advance the educational resources available in the Uintah Basin.

“We strongly support UBTech’s technical education programs,” said Integrated Water Management President, Nate Robinson. “They have a positive impact on the community and their mission aligns with IWM’s values.”

The company’s commitment to community betterment is evident through its history of supporting various local initiatives, including charitable tree plantings, supporting high school events, assisting with local fairs and celebrations, and its recent partnership with Roosevelt City in supporting the upcoming nature park.

IWM’s scholarship donation to UBTech includes 50% being prioritized for underserved populations, highlighting their dedication to promoting educational equity and inclusivity within the community.

The collaboration between IWM and UBTech demonstrates a shared vision of community improvement and empowering local students with the tools and resources to succeed in technical careers. This partnership promises to bring significant benefits to the Uintah Basin, fostering growth and opportunities for its residents.

IWM is an environmentally friendly waste handling facility that can handle large volumes of disposal water and is currently handling 90% of the 3rd party water disposed of within the state of Utah. The company has been incorporated in the Uintah Basin since 2010 and employs a workforce of 28 people, making it an integral part of the local economy.
